About University of Washington Neurology
The Jayadev Laboratory at the University of Washington, Department of Neurology, studies immune function and genetic risk regulating neuroimmune mechanisms of disease with the goal of informing effective therapeutic development. We are interested in the diversity of immune cell phenotypes in the brain and their relative contribution to or protection from disease. We leverage AD subject biospecimens including brain, skin and blood to establish molecular profiles using single cell/nucleus ‘omic approaches. The laboratory has an active stem cell modeling component where we functionally test hypotheses raised in transcriptomic and epigenomic studies
