Drosophila Genetics and Systems Biology The UC Irvine Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center (CFCCC) invites applications for a tenured faculty position at the level of Professor in the Departments of Development and Cell Biology and/or Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. We seek outstanding candidates whose research addresses the mechanisms underlying basic principles of organ growth and homeostasis relevant to cancer (e.g., cell competition, proliferation vs differentiation, organ size). Preference will be given to applicants whose research integrates Drosophila genetics with other model organisms / systems, using cutting edge molecular genetic and cell biological approaches.
