Description A postdoctoral position is available in Dr. Jennifer Nagashima’s (she/her) laboratory at the Smithsonian National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute. Our research is focused on developing biomimetic in vitro culture systems to understand ovarian folliculogenesis and fertilization. The postdoctoral fellow will contribute to ongoing research projects in the molecular characterization and modulation of reproductive extracellular vesicles and their functional impact on gamete cryopreservation and in vitro fertilization. Research uses the domestic cat as a model for both human and endangered felid fertility preservation applications.
