Visiting Assistant Professor in Biology
For the 2023-24 academic year, the Biology Department at Dickinson College seeks a cell/molecular biologist to fill a full-time, one-year visiting professor position (with the possibility of renewal). Teaching responsibilities may include a 200-level course in Genetics with laboratory, a 300-level course in either Cell or Microbiology with laboratory, and a 400-level seminar in the candidate's area of expertise. Opportunities for student-faculty research, and close mentoring by department faculty, will be available. Ideally, the successful candidate will complete their Ph.D. by June 2023. The ability to create inclusive learning environments for an increasingly diverse student body will be an important characteristic of the successful
