Postdoctoral fellow- Neurobiology and Genetics
The Wang Lab (www.hanwanglab.com) in the Department of Integrative Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to study neurobiology using C. elegans. This is a fully funded position available immediately. Position description: We are broadly interested in understanding how the brain controls behaviors. We use C. elegans as a model system to study the molecular, cellular, and circuit mechanisms underlying sleep and other behaviors. Our lab develops novel genetic tools and combines them with optogenetics, in vivo live imaging, genome editing, and next-generation sequencing to understand how genes function within the nervous system to contro
