Postdoctoral Research Associate in Cotton Fiber Functional Genomics
A postdoctoral research associate position in cotton fiber functional genomics is available to start by early fall 2023. The position is in the laboratory of Dr. Candace Haigler (chhaigle@ncsu.edu), Professor, within the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. The overall aim of the project is to use the tools of molecular and cellular biology to test how processes and variations in cotton fiber morphogenesis impact the mature fiber qualities of importance to the textile industry.  North Carolina State is a Research 1 University within the dynamic Research Triangle Park area. A vigorous plant science community exists here and in neighboring universities and corporations.
